Air New Zealand

Air new zealand was amazing to fly with!! We were treated excellently by friendly staff, especially the crew manager, al 🙂 we received prompt service and were well fed. The entertainment was great and had all the most recent movies
Excellent service, will definitely recommend!

We used air New Zealand because after waiting on time at Wellington we were turned back by Jet star as they tried to tell us we were 2 minutes late to book in, when we were already there. They were rude and unbending, so our only way home was to fly ANZ. Sadly it cost us a large amount of money, but the treatment by the ANZ staff was wonderful. I will never use any airline other than Air New Zealand in the future. Thanks for your help.

Travelled Auckland to Hong Kong with my wife and I in August. Cant really fault their product. We departed from a regional airport at 8pm through to Auckland, with a planned onward flight to Hong Kong departing at midnight. Unfortunately our outbound aircraft from Auckland was delayed 8 hours due to weather. AirNZ put us up in a hotel right onsite at the airport which was fantastic.

The Business class seating really is something else. A flat bed with a mattress and duvet. The food and wine was top notch. Because my wife and I wanted to dine together, the steward set up the rear vacant seat and table away from everyone else. That was a really nice touch. After the meal our beds were made up and we had a restful 8 hour sleep. This allowed us to arrive in Hong Kong feeling refreshed.

The return trip was much the same. The aircrew were not as friendly and came across a bit abrupt at times, otherwise again a comfortable trip. Our inward flight arrived early so the ground crew happily booked us on an earlier regional fight home.

Yes they are a bit more pricey, but AirNZ prove themselves time and time over to be the worlds best. We always choose AirNZ when we fly.

We have flown a few times now with Air NZ in economy & business and have been disappointed every time. From dealing with their reservations centre through to old daggy aircraft and awful product offering. The only good part has been the crew. We wouldn’t travel with them again.

I travelled from London to Los Angeles, had no problems getting there but on my return flight they were very strict with luggage. The lady at the check in desk was very unhelpful and did not provide us with the best options. hand luggage cannot exceed 7kg and this is the first airline to weigh hand luggage, only one hand luggage is permitted, which is ridiculous. No snacks are served in between meals, other than water, which isn’t good so passengers brought their own snacks. Other air lines provide snacks, especially on a long haul flight. inflight entertainment is average. The good thing is that the airlines are new.
