I would like to write a special THANK YOU to a certain Jeanie at Wellington Airport who was working at the helpdesk when we came rushing to her aide late at night. We had been refused to board a jetstar flight for a booking mistake and there was about 2 minutes left for us to book the last flight out that night back home. It was one of those horrible days where everything goes wrong, we had already missed another flight that day (also with Jetstar who had refused to wait for us) and we were stressed, exhausted and to us in that moment it felt like the world was ending. Jeanie went the absolute extra mile to find us cheap tickets on the flight that was about to leave. She did what seemed like the impossible, and although we were putting her in a very pressured, time sensitive situation, she did her best while also reassuring and calming us down. She handed us our boarding passes and told us to run to the gate. We made it with a minute to spare and had a very pleasant Air New Zealand flight back home, complete with friendly stewardesses who refilled my water bottle for me. But most importantly, we felt like Jeanie had had rescued us. Jeanie, you have no idea what you did for us today

Although having Qantas Platinum level Frequent Flyer status with more than 1 million points unused, my wife and I recently decided to return to Perth from NZ using Air NZ. We had travelled to NZ using Qantas Business Class. We decided to try Air NZ as we have, for a long time now, been disappointed with the lack of Qantas international services and lack of Premium Economy services provided to West Australian customers.

We were most impressed with the Premium Economy flight from Auckland to Perth on Air NZ flight NZ175. The seating and entertainment was great and the friendly service received on board could not be bettered. The meals were also wonderful well presented and very tasty. The menu was not overly embellished with fancy terms or ingredients like the Neil Perry menu used by Qantas.

By using Air NZ Premium Economy, we enjoyed near business class quality travel at significantly lower cost than returning with Qantas which only offer business class.

As Qantas shareholders and frequent flyers, we are sorry to say that, unless Qantas improves its services to West Australians, we will be considering Air NZ over Qantas for our future international flights.

I found Air New Zealand a great airline to fly with. All flights my domestic and international flights ran on time. Traveling with them again next week, same flights Melbourne to New Plymouth return.

I find the current airline safety videos using firstly the all blacks and now a comedian lacking seriousness and almost tells people not to take the video seriously. The video now takes longer and watching people around me they switch off quickly and are not paying attention. The videos were shorter and to the point in the past. I believe these videos show a lack of respect for safety from Air New Zealand.
EDITORS COMMENT: We have to disagree with you on this one as we know more people do watch these than standard videos or actual demonstrations.

I flew with Air newzealand from Australia to Auckland and I bought domestic flight with Air newzealand from Auckland to Queenstown.
Arrival time to Auckland and Departure time was more than 90 mins and I did my best to go to Dom terminal after arrival. However passport control took long time with long que and I missed my domestic flight and told that to Air Newzealand staff and she told me to go to Domestic terminal. Another staff told me I had to pay 100$ to change the flight and after a few mins she told me I need to buy new ticket with full price. The staff was not supportive and kind of rude and I had to pay another 200$.
I would not recommend this airline to my family and friends.
