Aeroflot

I fly from Moscow to Hong Kong to Moscow and was surprise quality of airplain (that was new airbus). Service was very good, this is totally different that inland flights. Leg room bigger than any other european carrier who fly to Asia.
Next time I will definitely used Aeroflot again.

Carriers were new . Food on bord excellent. Fly attendants smiling and speak fairly good english. A little delay on departure/arrival, but it did not caused me any trouble.
Passport control in Moscow was fast. Easy transfer. The lounge was overcrowded and a little dirty. Food quality average. Seats on board very comfortable and excellent entertainment program. I will definitely fly again also considering the excellent connections flying from Venice to Vietnam.
Finally the crew on board showed they really care for their company and did their best to satisfy passenger.

I had earlier come across several negative feedback about this Airline, until 2 weeks I had to urgently travel to Europe(Delhi-Moscow-Warsaw-Moscow-Delhi) for work (in peak tourist season-Summer) and the experience was fairly good. Below is my remark to certain negative feed backs I have previously come across:
1) Airline Crews are rough – Impossible to believe. I have flown in many European Airlines and faced many bad behaviors in other reputed European Airlines, but not here.
2) PRICE WAS 40% LESS compared to other Airlines who were flying via Vienna/Frankfurt/Doha/Abu Dhabi etc.
3) Baggage Lost- I had booked baggage from Delhi to Warsaw and got it back at Warsaw without any hassel.
4) Moscow Inter-terminal movement is confusing- No way!!! All signs are in English and its impossible to miss (unless you are in an imaginative world).
5) Flight Comfort is Bad- No! No! I flew Economy and seats were standard as any other Airline, Toilets were clean and food was fairly decent. No alcohol for Economy Passengers but that is OK, if I wana drink I will once I get off on the Airport.
6) Passport control at Moscow was very fast and not much Queue (peak tourist season). FLY AGAIN

I flew with Aeroflot a couple of yers ago from Athens to Kiev and back. Couple of the most miserable flights I ever had. Cheap bad food, flight attendants barely spoke any English, and the worst of all. on arrival I got my brand new suitcase severely damaged. I instantly took my broken suitcase and went to file a conplaint. The Aeroflot booth attendants not only didn’t they speak a word of English but they were literary laughing in my face and taunting me while speaking in Russian, clearly making fun of me. This was the most offensive behaviour I have ever had to deal with as a customer ever!!!! They finally gave me a piece of paper(!) to write my complaint , wich apparently threw away the moment I turned my back since there was no responce from anyone ever…what you pay is what you get, if you are lucky, so no more Aeroflot for me under any circumstances,,,my rating: 1/10..

Of course Russia is not known for the customer service so their flagship airline is no different. Terrible English from staff (I do know basic Russian so I was okay). Non-existent customer service. Terrible food (as expected from meat, cabbage, and potato country). The flight attendants look pretty miserable and I hope you don’t bother to check bags. Flight was OK as long as you have absolutely nothing to ask from staff.
