So now Westjet is charging for your first bag… Well alright then! Sooooo…. when I ask the agent if I have to pay this on my return flight – she replied “yes” (still no problem here – wait did I mention I SPECIFICALLY asked if Canadian currency will be accepted for my bag-tax on my return flight – she replied “yes”
Fast forward to my return flight – they only wanted the currency on the island or US…. I argued a bit – I explained, I don’t live in a US country nor is the country I was trying to get out of WITH my bag (I don’t know what I was thinking!!!)
So…. WESTJET, I’m talking to YOU! Get it together! Yes.. it is a little thing – however at the end of my trip…. that little thing makes a HUGE difference! Either you bill for both ways at the beginning of the trip OR you could go back to NOT charging for bags….. I’m just saying!
