    One of the worst airlines, if not the worst. Flight from Newark to New Orleans was cancelled due to maintenance issues on 23rd Dec, had to stay at a nearby hotel, but to due to incompetence and lack of empathy of a few UA employees, I was not given a hotel voucher. When I later asked for compensation, all they could come up with was $150 towards a future flight with UA and some Visa gift cards…all of which are useless to me because I live in Europe, not the USA!! And the e-ticket expires in a year. It is utterly useless because any UA flight within Europe is double what I would normally pay with easyJet for example, and there are 1-2 layovers where usually there are none with most European airlines! I am fuming mad at the incompetence and lack of care.
