We flew to and from Bangkok on an A330 however on one leg we had personal screens with on demand in flight entertainment and on the other leg shared screens throughout the cabin. On a 7 hour flight with what I thought was a very good airline I would of expected personal screens both ways. My advice is to try and find out when the “good” planes fly and travel on those days. The food and drinks on offer were of a high standard and the cabin crew very friendly. Blankets and pillows were of a good size. Despite the no personal TV thing I did think Thai Airways was good value for money.
