My trip with Singapore Airlines was Brisbane to Istanbul returning via Paris to Brisbane. I need to begin by stating that three of the four legs of this trip were fine, in comfortable aircraft with OK staff. However, the flight from Singapore to Istanbul was in an old plane (777-200) with most uncomfortable seats I have experienced. When I first sat down I thought I must have sat on something, but no, it was the thin and lumpy seat. The only way I could get comfortable was to request another pillow and blanket just to sit on. Other passengers were doing the same. My son and his partner also complained about their flight from Copenhagen to Brisbane recently with Singapore Airlines and they had the same experience, also on a 777-200. Also, in-flight entertainment screen was small, and mine stopped working halfway through the flight, so I read a book.
