    Last year- I paid in advance for selected seats on an intl flight- Qantas bumped me both times- departing and returning. I tried to get a refund but after three attempts telling me about ‘preferred’ seating not the seats I paid for, I did a chargeback on my credit card and got my money back. Fast forward 1 year- can’t even pay to book a seat in advance. I spent 50 minutes on the phone when the wait time was meant to be 4-5 minutes. I selected my paid seats, gave my cc details and was told I would receive an email- well 3 days later- nothing. I just rang again- wait time over an hour. Wow! Spirit of Australia- gone out the window! We need more choices in Australia.
