    MH139 KUL to ADL A333
Continuing our flight from Hong Kong, which was good, but the economy cabin was 60% empty, we boarded our flight from KUL to Adelaide and found the economy cabin nearly full. Which part of me was excited about – it ment that South Australian’s are supporting MAS, but secretaly I was hoping to get to be able to gain some more space on the overnight flight.

This A333 is one of their newer ones and is outfitted in the red seats rather than the multi-coloured seating offered in the B772. Service on board was as good as always, with snacks and juice offered shortly after take off, meal service followed about an hour after that. The IFE on the newer plane was great, a bigger screen and a decent choice. Sadly the only thing that was annoying was the pax behind me insiting that he tapped away like he was bashing on some typewritter from the 1950’s. The seating has a decent amount of leg room, more than the domestic B738’s and even with the pax infront of me fully reclined I didnt have my IFE screen close to my nose.
Breakfast snack is a chicken or mushroom wrap, and isnt very appealing – but you dont have to eat it. Coffee, tea, juice and soft drinks are all offered with the breakfast service, and shortly after rubbish is cleared away, its time to land. Staff are as always very pleasant, and answered call bells straight away even in the middle of the flight. I enjoyed my flight and do hope that the planned restructure retains the best parts of MH/MAS: the people and the service onboard.
