Booked long haul flights from Kuala Lumpur to Frankfurt a year in advance. Flights were changed after six weeks which was OK. Four months later, Lufthansa decided not to fly that route anymore and was rebooked connecting flights via Singapore without notification or consultation. No reply to emails after 3 weeks despite resends. Finally phoned them up – was very curt and unhelpful. Only offer was to cancel for a refund which has not been issued after 9 days.
EDITORS COMMENT: Refunds from airlines usually take around 3 months! Very very slow.
