First flights with Jetstar & on the 787 Dreamliner. JQ29 MEL-BKK & JQ30 BKK-MEL. Both flights a comfortable & pleasant experience. As I believe with all discount air lines Business class is really the equivalent of premium economy with a full service air line. Only negative a 50 minute delay boarding at MEL but then arrived early at destination so it hardly mattered. Seats new & comfortable, in flight service good, food good & IFE fair/good. I cannot speak for customers in economy but can’t see the justification in complaints about the lack of services which you don’t pay for in the first place to get the cheapest possible fair. You get what you pay for. Happy to be able to write a good review for Jetstar & will certainly fly with them again.
