We’ve flown Icelandair 6 times and only once was it on time. The delays are terrible, the communication poor. Saga class is basically a bigger old seat. The wine and champagne was warm on every leg of the trip in August. Wifi did not work even when we paid for it and they refused to give us the cheapo headphones when the wifi we paid $12 for didn’t work. They got my name wrong on the ticket and charged me $1,200 to cancel my flight and re-book even after we were told by the agent in Iceland that she changed my name and there would be no charge. We didn’t notice she then got my name wrong again by misspelling Michael as Micheal. The first class attendants looked put out when we ordered more drinks and even they were unhappy with the fact that they welcomed us with warm champagne. But then they didn’t chill anything. In Economy we were shocked there was no food or snack served on an 8 hour flight and the seats were so uncomfortable we got off feeling much older.
