Extremely disappointed. Long time supporter and business travel for our company with Air Fiji. Use to have older aircraft and excellent service. Now they have neLw aircraft and deplorable service.
Flight Vancouver Nadi in October. Ticket agent in Vancouver could not log on to Air fiji computer for baggage or business upgrades. Had to pay $150USD for one extra 18lb bag as business class could not be confirmed. Very brusque and rude Air Fiji counter rep in LAX charged extra baggage fee of $150USD for same bag even though showed receipt at Vancouver. Refused to honour upgrade fee stated by Air Fiji reservations and requested $1700 one way. Refused. LAX – NADI new aircraft seats in economy extremely cramped and uncomfortable. Worst aircraft meal in history.
Last week local flight Savusavu – Suva. Reservations completely messed up schedule and reservations resulting in taking $90 cab and flying out of Labasa. AF charged my CC over $1250 FJD for a flight that should have been less than $250.
After multiple phone calls and emails, still no credit for the overcharge.
Sad, but will not be able to use this airline in future. Real blow to Fiji.
