Flew DEL-AUH-LHR Return with the first leg a code share with Jet Airways. On both the Outbound and the Return journey the flight was late resulting in a dash to the next boarding gate… When I arrived at LHR I was informed after disembarkation that my luggage was not on the plane but on the next flight to LHR. The service at the baggage counter was excellent and the bag duly delivered that evening to my door.
The flight from LHR to AUH was about 90 minutes late and I was dreading another late baggage arrival in DEL but after sepaking to the Cabin Crew Leader he undertook to ensure that my baggage would arrive in DEL with me… (although he made he clear that he could not promise). When we eventually got to the connecting flight AUH-DEL the pilot explained that we would be delayed pending the loading of the bags from the late LHR flight… and so arrived in Delhi and my baggage arrived also…
Food wise I think Etihad is in the top two… however I find their service not as good as Qatar Airways… Not liking the reverse seating in the A380 either.
