    Part of the problem I had was with the airport, but mostly with Delta. Arrived at the gate 18 minutes prior to take off, due to security issues the day after Christmas, granted it’s a holiday but the airport was struggling and many people had issues with the line. I was told I could not board the plane because you have to be there 15 minutes before take off. It was 18 minutes prior and they slammed the door in my face and would not allow me to board. I find this unacceptable. Yes, it was a struggle getting there but I made it so to have your seat given away with the plane sitting there in the runway and the door slammed in your face because they are chose to give standby tickets early doesn’t fly with me. I was confirmed in the seat and had a boarding pass, if they are giving away seats then I feel I deserve my voucher just like anyone else who got one for giving up their seats. They gave many vouchers to passengers to change flights today, I did not receive one and I am not in my destination because I now cannot get out of STL. Very poor customer service.
