I was supposed to fly from Sacramento, Ca to Nashville, Tn with a 3 hour layover in Minneapolis/ St Paul. My flight was supposed to leave at 730 am and due to maintenance problems with the hydraulic system that were discovered after the passengers were boarded, I waited for 10 hours for another flight. I was reboarded on the same plane and ended having to catching a connecting flight to Atlanta from Minneapolis. This resulted in missing sight seeing plans in Nashville due to Delta not being able to get me a flight would arrive in time to catch my tours that started at 9 am. On my return flight to Sacramento, my flight from NC to Atlanta was delayed for 2 hours due to problems with the planes radio, which were discovered after the plane was boarded. We sat on the plane for 2 hours and missed our connecting flight to Sacramento. Waited at the airport for 8 hours for another flight. Had to talk to a supervising Delta agent in order to get 2 meal vouchers because they would only offer one at the service desk. I was able to get Delta to give my dad and I $575 each in flight credits only after multiple phone calls to agents who seemed less than interested in providing adequate compensati
