Delta Air Lines review by Joanna 2016-01-04

It’s our first time with Delta and probably the last! We took a round trip flight to Bogota, Colombia from NYC. On our way to Bogota, they took all hand carry luggages right at the GATE when we’re ready to get on the plane and told us that the plane was overloaded and they need to transfer the hand carries to different plane. That was okay, not a big deal. Worse was when we got back to NYC, they closed the door even before 20 mins before taking off without any noticed! Good thing, my husband and I arrived exactly when they were about to close the gate (which was 35mins before the take off). We arrived at JFK couple minutes early, waited for our bags in the baggage claim for almost an hour just to find out that BAGS ON OUR FLIGHT WERE LEFT IN BOGOTA BECAUSE THE PLANE IS OVER LOADED – AGAIN!!!! The worst part – THE REPRESENTATIVES at DELTA OFFICE IN JFK airport are horrible! One lady doesn’t speak and understand English very well was trying to locate her bag, and the reps are laughed at her, they don’t know how to treat customer right, wether business class passenger or regular, they don’t care. VERY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! The bags will not arrive until the next day!
