    We booked a five-day vacation to Tenerife through our regular travel agency, which included 20 kg of checked baggage and a standard carry-on per person. Confused by Condor’s information, we called customer service to confirm their baggage policies. They insisted that we purchase two additional 8 kg carry-ons, which we paid for. Our Samsonite carry-on, which met Condor’s dimensions, was packed alongside a small backpack and a checked suitcase.

    At Düsseldorf, the agent falsely claimed our Samsonite carry-on was oversized and urged us to book extra checked luggage for the return flight. During our vacation, Condor’s customer service assured us our baggage was within their limits and didn’t require extra booking. They suggested we notify our travel agency, but the agency lacked system access.

    At the airport for the return flight, staff aggressively charged most passengers extra fees. Our 23.5 kg checked suitcase was incorrectly flagged as overweight, but a supervisor intervened to confirm our compliance.

    Condor’s contradictory information and aggressive extra fees made our vacation stressful. Avoid them if you value your peace of mind.
