I recently flew British airways from Hong Kong to London BA 0026 on 25 th June 2013. When booking my ticket I was offered to upgrade to world traveller plus from world traveller for this flight, which I accepted and paid for.
After boarding the flight and eating my meal I tried to recline the seat back to sleep, as it was a night flight. However the seat did not recline at all. Two males crew members tried to move the seat back as well but it was broken. I asked to be moved back to economy to a seat that reclined, however, the flight was full and they were unable to do that.
British Airways have refused to refund to me the cost of the upgrade despite the fact that the seat was faulty.
