Return ticket from Heathrow to Bangkok (honeymoon) asked if we could upgrade to premium, told yes but an extra £220 each. This was no problem yet the ground staff stated there was no point on the 777 as very little difference. How wrong they were. The seating difference was more spacious and x2 rows instead of x3.
The 777 was old and held an atmosphere of early-mid 90’s. I was staring dissapointingly at the A380’s and more modern fleets of Emirates etc as we took off.
Seats uncomfortable, the wife suffered back pain there and back (excuse the pun).
Food was pretty good to be fair.
Wont be flying BA longhaul again, shorthaul not such an issue.
