Flew Sydney to Rome via LHR and return; B777 to and from Australia A321 LHR to and from Rome. Service was reasonably good, that promises of a newspaper on one flight and paracetamol did not eventuate. Range of food and drinks somewhat restricted. Food to London was very disappointing, but food on the return leg was tasty and satisfying. BUT, business seating is terrible: feels like a coffin in your cubicle – very narrow and nowhere to put anything. BA puts eight seat across, while others put only six, even on larger planes such as the A380. Sorry BA, I used to enjoy business on the 747s, but the B77 experience has put me off completely: the standard is not even as good as other airlines’ premium economy offerings.
