I booked a flight from Tokyo to Melbourne and with a stop over in Kuala Lumpa no problems.
I decided to purchase some food on the Tokyo to Kuala Lumpa with my visa and this went through fine. So i decided to eat again on the Kuala Lumpa to Melbourne flight and tried to used the same card to purchase food and it was rejected by the flight attendant. I asked why and she said that they dont accept visa debit cards.
Well sorry you did on the previous flight and i use the same card to pay for my flight. Also it is advertised on the in flight menu that visa was accepted. You can not trust air asia to provide you food on an international flight.
EDITORS COMMENT: What you have here is two different operating airlines. AirAsiaX is the long haul international arm and they do have some differences purely based on the routes and countries they fly to.
