    My husband and I flew the first direct flight from Toronto to BUD on 1 June, 2016. We opted to pay extra for option plus promising priority seating, ( we both are in our 70s)
    In Toronto the flight was an hour late for boarding due to total chaos at the gate. Rude attendants, unexplained delays, started processing economy seats before Option Plus just to spite many older and tired people who were not in wheelchairs. I have traveled around the world many times and never experienced this kind of behavior from any airline. This was my first experience flying Air Transat and for this horrific start, it may be the last! Too bad because there were parts that I found commendable. For example Option Plus if it was as promised at the time is sale! Delays are a fact of life, but passengers deserve an explanation in a polite and respectful manner, instead chit-chatting with fellow attendants and rudely sending tired, older people to the back when inquiring about the time of boarding( 45 minutes past the departure time)
    The cabin crew was polite and helpful. The food was another problem. In spite of our option plus seating our choice of food was unavailable BOTH direction due sitting at bac
