Our Dublin to Chicago flight on Air Lingus was much more than I expected, having read mixed reviews. The service was excellent – the staff was friendly and helpful and served us food, snacks and beverages several times during our 8 hour flight. I had a chicken dish that was good, plus several other snacks, water and coffee/tea offerings. A passenger near me had a medical emergency, and it was handled professionally and with consideration for her privacy and the care of her young son. The staff brought him snacks and were so gentle and caring while taking care of this woman. They were pleasant and friendly the entire flight. We had a large selection of current and other films, TV and music to enjoy, as well as friendly updates from the pilot. I was very impressed, as the long flight didn’t seem as long and everyone was professional, kind and helpful. I would fly Air Lingus again, no question.
