WAW-ATH-WAW. After smooth boarding it turned out that one of the engines went down. We had to wait for another plane. The airline took care of the passengers, we were offered vouchers for hot meals; sandwiches, juices, etc. After 7 hours 22 minutes the gate was opened again. Each passenger received an apology letter from the carrier with a free voucher for OW ticket to be used within next 12 months. The service on board was outstanding. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was really tasty (I received Hindu non vegeterian meal – the one I asked for 🙂 ). Return flight was on time. After a few weeks I received EUR400 on my bank account (as per EU regulations) so… another trip with A3 is scheduled for April!
