Boeing will fly the newest and largest members of its 737 MAX 10 and 777X-9 aircraft families at the Farnborough International Airshow next week.
The 737-10, making its international debut, will join the 777-9 in the daily flying and static display. The two aircraft will fly to the show on a blend of sustainable aviation fuel, which Boeing sees as a major lever for further reducing carbon emissions.

The 737-10 will be on the show grounds from July 18 to 21. The 737 MAX family, which has received more than 3,300 net orders, promises 20 per cent lower emissions and a 50 per cent lower noise footprint compared to the aircraft they replace.
The 777-9, which is the world’s largest twin-engine jet, will be at the airshow from July 18-20 and is based on the most successful twin-aisle aircraft – the 777 – and combines advanced technologies from the 787 family.
However, Boeing is struggling to have both of these jets certified with intense scrutiny from the US regulator the FAA after the two 737 MAX tragedies in 2018 and 2019.
The 777X was expected to enter service in 2020 but the earliest date is now 2024, while the 737 MAX 10 may need major software changes, mandated by US Congress, if it is not certified by December 31 this year.
