The seatpitch on most airliners on economy class is just 30-32 inches. Why is the seat pitch so low, given that the everage height of people have grown over the last decade. I my self i 196 cm and I have huge problems sitting in those standard economy class seats, and I cant count on getting an emergency exit row each time.
So what about some seats on planes where there is extra legroom and that is reserved for people with an extra height.

A lot of airlines do have the option of extra leg room seats that can be pre purhcased or premium economy. Yes the seat pitch for standard seating is low but this is also what has kept the cost of air travel low - it has in fact never been cheaper to fly than right now. As soon as you increase the seat pitch you decrease the number of passengers and the ticket price will go up.
