Have Your Say

Your, Mr.Thomas I think, how does he make his awards. 1, RE Qantas he obviously does not do his research very well. The number of complaints online about Qantas is quite high. eg he quotes”the price on the ticket is the price charged” Complaints are quite high, even the Consumer Association, CHOICE is raising the matter o f Qantas and Jetstar adding extremely high “service charges” to the total during booking. It is thievery.
The baggage on domestic 1x23kg. Is one bag.. Take 2 and there is a charge. Has Thomas tried lifting a 23kg bag out of the car, even just up on to the scales. Elderly and some women would find this difficult, many impossible.Alchohol is not free on domestic flights.
Has he tried sitting in Jetstar Asia seats. They are so close that they are dangerous should an accident happen. No chance to be folding your head down. They are like cattle shutes.
As for the Qantas lounge, I was just within the last month in the Brisbane one.The display of food was unlimited, all cold execept for the soup and an abundant display of Jaffa lollies.
Also try getting in touch with this airline??
They are trying every which way to screw customers.
Has he tried Virgin? Or is he just relying on handouts from Qantas.
Suggest he reviews his research methods.

We couldn't disagree more with all of the above 1) The price on the ticket IS the price charged: the ticket includes seat selection 24 hours prior to your flight, baggage, meal/snack, beverages, in flight entertainment and blankets and pillows 2) Service charges refer to those to make a change to your ticket i.e. the date or time of flight - every airline charges these unless you are on a flexi fare ticket. 3) Name a domestic airline in the world that lets you take 2 bags to accommodate 23kgs 4) Alcohol is free on city flyer flights, and other flights after 11am. Again name another domestic airline that offers this 5) 131313 that's the number you need to call to speak with someone at the Australian call centre - yes the wait could be up to 10 minutes but at least you get to speak to someone 6) Jetstar Asia is a low cost carrier - high capacity seating to give you a lower price - of course it's cramped! 6) The lounges are based on ALL lounges around the world not just Brisbane and I dare say it was in between the major meal times being Breakfast, Lunch And Dinner 7) Virgin are an excellent airline but if you wan't to compare them to Qantas based on the above argument; they don't provide blankets or pillows, on majority of their non capital city flights you are still required to pay for food and soft drinks. Alcohol is only provided free after 4pm on capital city flights. They also offer the same baggage allowance of one 23kg bag and have a fantastic call centre . Their service charges are not dissimilar to Qantas'.
