Attached a link to a UK newspaper who have analysed the report into Air France Flight AF447 which crashed into the Atlantic from 39000ft which seemed at the time very surprising. The flight crew and the circumstances they found themselves in should have been handled without much drama, but given they retrieved all the data boxes and the cockpit voice recordings the air crash investigators could conclude the pilots when faced with flying the plane themselves it was beyond them. The Captain unfortunately was having a snooze when the first sign of trouble came and when he got to the cockpit he knew exactly how to correct the problem, alas it was too late…the plane was doomed by then..
