I know Turkish Airlines is planning direct IST-SYD flights next year. Could we perhaps in the medium term see Turkish take on Emirates, Qatar and next year Etihad out of PER by offering direct flights to IST with onward European connections on their extensive network? EDITORS COMMENT: At this point in time Turkish have no plans to fly into Perth however they do have plans for massive route network expansion so it could happen one day
