I am watching Parliament Question Time and it appears that Tony Abbott has ruled out a debt guarantee for QANTAS on the basis that if a guarantee is offered to one company it would have to offer it to all companies.
Given that the QANTAS Sales Act is unlikely to be changed judging by statements from the ALP, Greens and Palmer United, what can be done by the government to help QANTAS?
