I read yesterday in The West Australian that the latest B737 being handed over QANTAS features the ‘most difficult / complex’ or whatever paint job Boeing has ever applied to one of its aircraft? Then I see full pics of the B737 flying over N.W. USA. Really? It doesn’t look like the most ‘difficult to get done paint’ job I’ve ever seen on a plane. If we’re talking just Boeing planes then take a look at the stream, rocks, and leaping salmon on the sides of Alaska Airlines B737. That looks like it would have been more difficult than the latest QANTAS paint job. Bangkok Airways have some very colourful paint jobs on all their aircraft that look quite intricate – although these are Airbus and ATR aircraft……
