With many newly designed passenger aircraft only having two engines, what is the capbility of an aircraft to continue its flight if one engine fails e.g. 787?
EDITORS COMMENT: Aircraft are tested for this precise scenario and can fly with one engine. Obviously in this instance the aim would still be to land as soon as possible at the nearest airport.
