We use Singapore Airlines very frequently and have found it to be still the very best one around. Safety, reliability and service are all 10/10. There have been a few service cutbacks but these are still quite negligible. Also it is regrettable that Singapore’s wonderful all business-class service on its A340-500 aircraft on the Los Angeles-Singapore and Newark-Singapore routings will soon be discontinued. Also, Singapore does not always have its best aircraft on all its routings. For example, the older, unmodified 777-200 equipment is still used on many Singapore to Europe routings. From and to Australia, Singapore uses the A380 and 777-300ER equipment for its Melbourne and Sydney flights but only the far less comfortable A330 aircraft for its Brisbane flights.
