What IS the rule on electronic equipment use on aircraft? There are announcements telling people NOT to use electronic equipment during take off/landing. On recent flights in S E Asia, people were happily using I-Pads, I-Phones, Kindles during take off, one guy was texting on TWO phones at once and the cabin crew just ignored it. If these gadgets are dangerous to use on planes why don’t cabin crew respond to their use?
