Have Your Say

You must be flying with a different Air New Zealand, Geoffrey! The Perth – Auckland – Perth B777 flights in economy are certainly not superb. Smelly clorinated drinking water out of jugs and bad temperature control are only a couple of complaints I would mention. Even with the works fare a second piece of luggage costs you $200 NZ. The Airpoint $ scheme is also fairly useless compared to others. Fair enough, if you always fly in the front and probably for free you can feel good about it.

Geoffrey would be the first to say how lovely the front end is but I assure you he does fly economy and for that for the rest of us that fly in the back end on multiple routes with Air New Zealand they certainly tick all the boxes. The AirlineRatings.com editorial team took special note of Air New Zealand’s comprehensive long haul offering which had two multi-award winning products in the Skycouch and Spaceseat for economy minded passengers. Meals are also taken into consideration as well as in flight entertainment and environmental impact to name a few. Temperature control is really up to cabin crew and not a measurable factor as is the smell of the water. I think the water in Perth is some of the most chlorinated in the world! The team also look at management, staff engagement and financial status. I hope that on your next Air New Zealand flight you get to experience what so many of us have and have a better flight than your last
