Flybe is a low cost carrier based in the UK operating a fleet of over 70 regional aircraft. Their route network is extensive and links many well known tourist destinations.
The airline has been awarded by as the best regional airline for 2017.

    Seat and Amenities

Seats are arranged in a 2-2 configuration throughout the entire aircraft and had a 30-31 inch seat pitch and 3 inch recline. Being a regional aircraft the overhead compartments are small but there is plenty of room under the seat in front for cabin bags.

    Customer service on board

Service on this one hour flight was efficient and friendly with good information from the pilots throughout the flight.

The in flight menu varies depending on the flight and destination. You can pay cash on board in pounds (exact amount preferred) or by credit card. The sandwich, tea and crisps combo we had was good value and tasted fine. It certainly was nothing special but pre-made sandwiches kept chilled generally never are. Flybe work on a low cost model therefore even drinks such as water and tea need to be purchased or you can bring your own water bottle from the departure lounge on board with you.

    Inflight entertainment

There is no in flight entertainment but being a regional aircraft the flights fly low so the views out the window are great – try and get yourself a window seat. No blankets or pillows on board.
